Chris and Ann Curran: We moved to Chester and opened our B&B for Fall Foliage season 1996 after visiting Vermont regularly since 1984. We fell in love with our 1840 Stone House and purchased it on our first 'buying trip' 0n St Patricks Day 1996. Our Stone House was formerly owned by the late author Olivia Goldsmith who lived here for 5 years while writing some of her first novels including "First Wives Club" which was subsequently made into a movie.
